Julia looked, was, and is amazing.
As we said in our “thank you speech” at our wedding, it took a community to make the event, and Julia and I had a wonderful experience!
Being at home in Victoria, staying with my now inlaws was a good experience. Julia’s family makes me feel part of the family, particularly Julia’s parents Bart & Donna, brothers Landon and Bret, and grandparents Bill and Elaine.
They also have a fantastic, welcoming extended family and tribe. It is a close group of amazing people that I am fortunate to now be part of.
My brother Dylan and mom Lois were both amazing during the week and event. As were my friends, particularly Bernie and Chris Robb. My colleague and friend Anthony came from San Francisco to represent the flock.
Flock team and everyone else gave us some very thoughtful gifts. My mom said it well, when discussing the gifts people have given Julia and I, she said, “Everyone is contributing to getting you started well.”
