Hi Lloyd - my apologies to the web community for the inconspicuous take off. Indeed, the group formally known as the Web Posse is disbanded - I've actually moved from Victoria back to Nanaimo and taken a bit of a mental break from the web. Here's the 'official' send off I wrote our contributors in case anyone missed it:

"Rather than attempt a graceful exit, metaphor, or euphemism (and coinciding with the prophecy of an acquaintance), two years seemed to be the golden age for my youthful optimism of web nerdery. Not to mention, it's probably a good place to end on with the series of lectures we had at the end of 2007.

On that note, there are lots of people doing cool things if you're still interested in getting together: The Renegades for one, DemoCamp, and a new Posse in Comox Valley (Jamie McCue). And if there's one thing you want to do before you die as a web professional, you absolutely have to go to SXSW in Austin Texas. That's *all I'm sayin*."

The blog is actually posted offline for now because I was debating my hosting options during mental break period...and I highly encourage the great community in Victoria to keep on possy-in'! Thank you so much to everyone for everything, and all the best in the future. Perhaps we'll bump elbows again soon :)
