Thank the weekend Flock!

Flock Bug Hunting

This weekend, a lot of bugs have been updated, and not by staff members of the Flock team. I am ecstatics. Volunteer contribution says to me that Flock matters!

Brent Ozar has lit up the testing by reporting and verifying 17 bugs this weekend! Not to be outdone, Jon Homan did 14 bugs. New to the Flock testing community is Dinesh Cyanam who did 11 bugs. One bug is different from the next, but my guess is that these efforts each represents at least a day’s work.

Jeongkyu Kim has a bit different approach. Since the beginning of the month he has done a bug every couple of days.

Thank you Flock testing team!

Awww, shucks. I’ve got a much easier job testing than you guys have developing! Yeah, Flock definitely matters – thanks for building a browser I enjoy using. This thing kicks ass, and I grimace whenever I go home to our home computer, where my girlfriend still insists on IE as the default browser.

I almost had her this weekend. She was doing research on our desktop computer for a term paper, and she wanted to take the laptop into the bedroom to work. She asked if she could copy her favorites over to the laptop, and I said, “Well, if you were using Flock like me, your favorites would be here, there, and everywhere – even at internet cafes when you go to Delicious.” I got The Look, though, hahaha. I haven’t won that one quite yet.

    Brent,

Get Ernestina using Flock and the girlfriend might follow. She will be in the minority then. Nice work on the bug hunting.

  3. Well….I am thankful to Jake Dahn for he inspired me start bug testing after I read about him in Flockstars. Bug testing is really fun and I am loving evey moment of it….

A big thank you for all the devs at Flock for giving us a great browser
