Robin Adrianse has made a huge positive impact on development of WordPress 2.2
In Ryan’s second WordPress 2.2 development update In the Trunk, he closes with:
Trac is hopping. We have more people contributing to core WP development than ever. 2.2 is shaping up very nicely.
A big contributor to the hopping is Robin Adrianse, or as I have known him ’shorty114′. He has taken the new handle rob1n in WordPress Trac, and his contribution has been awesome.
First, in bug gardening, he has taken it upon himself to do the painful task of considering tickets that have not been updated in over a year. As I have only been focused on WordPress much less than that amount, many of these tickets were in a foreign language to me. Robin has the history and technical knowledge to work through this. A job that no one else has seemed willing to.
Robin spent his reading break contributing his WordPress expertise and PHP skills to WordPress 2.2 development. More than anyone else, I seem him collaborating with Ryan and Mark in the #wordpress-dev IRC channel.
Since creating the Rob1n handle at the beginning of February, he has impacted 128 tickets!
If you use WordPress, be sure to thank Robin!
cp rob1n rob2ncp rob1n rob3ncp rob1n rob4n… which is a geeky way of saying “we could use more people like you!” Robin’s help has been invaluable. Thank you, Robin.
