Currently, I do most of my blog writing in a private blog on WordPress.com then copy the post to foolswisdom.com .

This way:

• I fulfill my duties as an Automattic employee
• Get the latest and greatest version of WordPress blog editor which automatically saves.

At the same time with this blog still on the latest 2.0.x, I have incentive to contribute well to the next release getting done. Speaking of which, WordPress development lead Ryan Boren posted an excellent status and kicked off discussion of 2.1 on the wp-hackers mailing list.
