If you you go out on the Web tonight, you will be in for no surprise, Michael Arrington will have written up…
a thorough review of the latest web product, service, or project.
For some reason, every other search I did this weekend, Michael’s Techcrunch was in the top five results. One reason is that what Michael writes is very relevant to my work and passions, and evidently many others.
I have had the great pleasure of meeting this incredible person multiple times.
His writing speaks to me. Often he addresses the aspects of a service related to its features and usability that I am most interested in. Did I mention the thoroughness of his writing.
Sometimes though his enthusiasm is a bit much for me — it is necessary to get the great scoops that he does
Thankfully his enthusiasm is genuine.
His post-publishing editing of his posts could use some… “refinement”.
It will be hard to live up to his commitment to report about these companies go bust, as many will, because nobody likes to be reminded about the two dollars that we spend on tickets a few times a week, and most certainly not the lottery I or or my friends didn’t win. We like to talk about the big winner!
Lastly, I eagerly await Michael producing a product or two of his own.
