This is so totally true. When will people wake up and realize that hypothetically, even if Marijuana is a gateway drug, it is only a gateway drug because kids are forced to buy from street dealers that ultimately push harder and harder substances to their customers.

@Joseph: But think of the extra resources released to enforce the law if they aren’t enforcing against adult users AND the shift in social acceptability of illegal dealing once children become their ONLY market. They would have nowhere to hide. I don’t think anybody is saying there would be NO criminals in the market but it would certainly be easier to catch them.

I have a hard time believing that people of such a low moral character as to use children to sell illegal drugs would suddenly stop using that technique because one of their products is no longer illegal.
