While in Vancouver Saturday Julia and I also visited Nadia and Andrew Frost and their wonderful one week old baby boy, Maxime.

On Saturday, Julia and I caught the 7am ferry to Vancouver.

Julia spent all of the day cooking and baking up a storm so the Frosts have a few meals already made for them.

I also was “working”, enjoying BarCamp

I arrived in time for dinner to share some beers with Andrew, play with their other son 2 year old Aidan, and enjoy the delicious beef Shepherd’s Pie and chocolate chip cookies that Julia had made.

What got me was how tiny, but fully human one week old Maxime is.

Quite a few of our close friends have little ones, and time spent with always them leaves me appreciating how amazing life is.

Julia and I returned on the 9pm ferry. We were welcomed home by our comfy bed.
