Linuxfest Northwest is an amazing, free, all ages Linux community annual event April 28 & 29 that I have never been to. I unfortunately will not be there again this year.
Tim Bray wrote an inspiration post last year. And I have heard about the amazing time that fellow Victoria Linux User Group (VLUG) members Carl Constantine, Mark McLaughlin, Corey Burger, Peter Scott and others have had, so I have had this year’s event on my calendar for a year!
It really is about the community.
Julia and I are moving that weekend into temporary accommodations (in-law’s house) for a week before we can move into our place. So I am not able to attend again this year. This is an event that I have long wanted to go to — next year!
