Julia and I read this book to each other before bed.
Vincent Lam’s skill at prose is awesome, but Julia and I were not passionate about the characters nor the stories. The last story we found particularly flat.
There are many medical insights, and the SARS story fills in a lot of details for me of those events in Toronto while I was living there.
