Half Moved

Yesterday, Julia and I moved out of the place we have rented since January and into Julia’s parents house… for a week, before we can move into our home!

Julia, as usual, did an amazing job with the packing. Julia’s mom Donna made it all possible, as all the packing was done on Saturday.

Sunday around noon Bernie, Landon, Jeremy, Chris and Dylan were our moving crew. We made short work of it, particularly as each of the boys brought their shipping vehicles.

After, all but Bernie — who dashed back to his baby — went for some tasty Taiwanese food with horrible service.

I can’t wait till after next weekend when we are moved in!

What area of town is it in?

Man, what I wouldn’t do for some Noodle Box right now.

Congrats, buddy. Awesome to see you move halfway around the world and then back…and now in the bosom of domestic bliss :P

engtech, are there multiple areas of Victoria? After living in any larger city for any length of time, all of Victoria feels like within arm’s length.

I have never eaten at Noodle Box. I have heard it is tasty food, a little expensive and very long lines.

The best Chinese food in Victoria is J & J Wonton Noodle House. The vegetables are always very fresh and the noodle is made on site.

Boris, domesticated?! No, this will be Julia and my global command center — nothing domestic about that ;-)
