Good Gnome to You

Termie-nator answers, "What is your operating system, and what does it do? WRONG. It is Ubuntu Linux on the desktop!"

He has previously made clear that the only software developer’s text editor is vim. All these findings are meaningless compared to GNOME being the open source desktop. Oh, that is right, Bart made that clear years ago. Or did he?

Most joking aside, my desktop of choice, has hit a significant milestone today, releasing GNOME 2.14 . I remember, depending on the timing, waiting almost a year before my Linux distribution shipped with the latest released GNOME. A new version of Ubuntu called Dapper Drake will be released next month June 1st with GNOME 2.14.

Eletido, thank you for the correction.

The release delay has not been officially announced yet. At the time
of the Flight 5 release those dates were accurate. The Flight
6/Beta/RC announcements and reviews will contain the new revised
    release date.”
