Flickr comment spam attack?

In the last 24 hrs I have seen 8 comment spam on the feed for photos I have commented on.

Before this, in the year and half that I have used Flickr “intensively”, maybe a few.

I am not alone.

    yes, flickr is under attack by a spam bot.

    the problem in fact comes from yahoo, which allows a spam bot to automatically create as many fake yahoo account as they want.

    appeared and I now suspect any comment left by users with usernames starting with “a” with a mixture of upper and lower case characters and digits.
