My sister turned me onto it last month and I'm ever so grateful that she did, just wish that she had done it sooner. If you haven't tried it, you really should give it a try and see for yourself, it only takes a few moments of your time and will in the end save yourself a lot of time and aggravation! A badly authored Flash advert can really bog down a browser. I don't have that problem anymore. I surf with Flash disabled and if I visit a site with a Flash item I want to see, I quickly enable Flash. It's a very nice feature. I used to use FlashBlock, but don't see much need for it anymore. The Firefox team is currently working on a fix, reportedly. The nice thing about Firefox and other open source programs is that when a bug is discovered, the developers work on a fix right away. Microsoft can take 6 months or more to issue a patch for their buggy Internet Explorer.
