We have concluded our investigation of the bug where when starting Flock all your favorites were gone. This was del.icio.us specific, and the bug was not in the Flock browser. There are no negative effects to your favorites on del.icio.us. Unfortunately, the nature of this del.icio.us service bug, requires your manual correction.
Manual Correction
- Shutdown Flock
- Go into your profile folder
- Delete files:
flock_fq_default_in.rdfandflock_fq_default_out.rdf - Restart Flock
Additional Details
Thanks to the help of the community, we were quickly able to narrow down the nature of the issue. We were able to reproduce the issue in a debugging environment.
Ian identified the problem was that some of del.icio.us’ servers were telling Flock that you had no favorites. Flock then updated its information to that state.
We provided the information to the Del.icio.us team on Thursday, and they immediately corrected the issue.
Since then Ian has been investigating the consequences to Flock. Fortunately, there was no negative impact to your favorites at del.ico.us . Unfortunately, as above you have to manual correct the condition in Flock.

Pingback: #2919 resolved; the fix is in at FactoryCity
My problem was that certain web sites would just disappear from the Flock Faves Toolbar after relaunching Flock.
After I deleted the two files mentioned above, all my web sites in Flock Faves Toolbar have remained there. My problem has been solved. Glad to know the problem was not with Flock’s version 0.5.13.2 as I originally thought.
My Flock is running like a Swiss watch and I couldn’t be happier. Thank you for your fix tip.
Regards,
Omar.-
Thanks Omar for the help in finding this problem, and for the follow up.
Great job on the bugfix!
Good to see flock and del.icio.us working nicely together.
