A bit late to the party, I just wanted to inform you that many old Unix operating systems used to limit file length to 14 (System V, most notably).

If you can believe it, I've been having problems like this for about the last week to 10 days in Vancouver too! I thought it was just my piece of crap, hacked HTC Dream, as it's had issues since the get go. (Also on Rogers)

Text messages taking 4+ hrs to get through or not at all. People phoning me getting the "this customer cannot be reached" message. Me not having reception despite the phone saying I do.

I wonder what the heck is going on, I've had really decent customer service from them, and usually pretty good cell service, and I am really not interested in going back to Telus who were super evil to me before!

I had issues with Fido/Rogers whenever I visited my parents on the Sunshine Coast. I switched to koodo/telus and have never had an issue. it seems to be a common solution for most people on the west coast.

That's true to a certain extent but I'm more cynical about it. The founder or main members of a project will still do 99% of the hard work. That has been my experience with my projects unfortunately. Even my calls for Supercache testers on my blog only garnered a few RTs on Twitter and one or two comments. Then people will bitch and complain about broken features (that work fine on my sites) because they weren't widely tested ..
/rant

PS.Good luck in the new job. You just happened to catch me at a bad moment. :)

The format is: AAA-BBBBB-CCC-DDDD-EEEEEEE

AAA= Cheque number, found in the top right hand corner as well
BBBBB=Transit number, which is the branch number + 1 digit to identify province of origin
CCC= Institution code, for TD, 004 as mentioned above
DDDD= this is something called designation number, in some cases the same as branch number, but in most cases different, this is only used for pre-autorized payments.
EEEEEEE= this is your 7 digit account number. the full account number needed for pre-autorized payments as well as direct deposit consist of the last 2 groups, so DDDD-EEEEEEE
If by any chance the account was a previous Canada Trust account opened prior to 2003, the designation code (DDDD) will probably not be there as this was originally a coding from TD bank.
