We are the Internet
We really are the Internet.
“At its heart was a new kind of participation that has since developed into an emerging culture based on sharing.”
Passion
“Creation is messy. You want genius, you get madness, two sides of the same coin.”
You-omattic? Automattic is Hiring
We are hiring for two work from anywhere, full-time jobs: a “code wrangler” and “systems wrangler.”
Automattic is the most fantastic company!
Own Home
Yesterday, Julia and I made an offer on a house that was accepted!
We have a lot to do this week to remove our “conditions”. We are both excited, though both appreciate we are at the beginning of the process.
Flickr comment spam attack?
In the last 24 hrs I have seen 8 comment spam on the feed for photos I have commented on.
This hour has how many minutes?
The Half Hour News Hour is a half-hour television news satire show set to air Sunday evening on Fox News starting February 18, 2007. Creator Joel Surnow describes the show as “The Daily Show for conservatives”. [Wikipedia article]
The Daily Show is not for conservatives?! The Daily Show is brilliant and one of the tools I used while living in the USA to understand what was going on.
What caught my eye though was the name. It reminds me of the much more wittily named This Hour Has 22 Minutes which is a brilliant weekly Canadian mock news program.
I only breath once a week.

Do Follow WordPress
WordPress’ Dougal Campbell reminds all us WordPress bloggers to Do Follow.
I consider this a must install WordPress plugin, essential for free culture to collaborate. Basically, what Kimmo Suominen‘s dofollow plugin does is make your blog tell search engines that you think the links that commenters leave are important and part of a healthy Web.
Is there a Do Follow badge or button? Or a no “nofollow” one?
My Valentine
Julia is my valentine!
I find it hard to get excited about Valentine’s day, but I did well this year.
